TITANS
Jonathan Alpeyrie
Titans

“Titans” offers an arresting look at the world’s modern fighters, revealing their grit, discipline, and humanity through Jonathan Alpeyrie’s powerful portraits.

In “Titans,” Jonathan Alpeyrie turns his lens toward contemporary warriors, capturing the intensity of their daily realities. Through bold, intimate portraiture, the book examines not just the physical presence of these fighters, but the unspoken stories etched into their faces. The result is a visually compelling exploration of strength, vulnerability, and identity within today’s military and paramilitary worlds.

This photography book is a heartfelt tribute to the men and women who lived through one of the most defining moments of the 20th century—World War II. Over the course of 15 years, I photographed 225 WWII veterans from 62 different nationalities, representing both Axis and Allied forces. These portraits aim to preserve the memory, humanity, and stories of a generation that shaped the world as we know it.

The book is a deluxe limited edition, with only 100 hand-numbered copies available worldwide. Measuring 9.8 x 9.8 inches and featuring 60 pages printed on high-quality matte photography paper 8mn thick alongside a wood made cover, it is both a visual and historical collector’s piece. The cover was masterfully crafted PhotoAlbum Universal based in Sao Paulo Brazil, and the lay out designed by renowned Brazilian photographer and designer Alex Grand, bringing elegance to every page.

Each copy is priced at $300, which includes shipping and handling. This project is more than a book—it’s a legacy.
